On 11/13/2018 The Village of Eagle through it's Law Firm revoked the 17 year old Village Charter of this Website and the Wednesday Newsletter and asked that any official reference to the Village be removed.

Please be advised that the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) has changed the statutory speed limit on US-34 west of Eagle.
Authorization No. 19-1-16 was approved by NDOT and creates an intermediate 55 mph speed zone beginning 900 feet west of the 202nd street intersection and ending west of Eagle’s corporate limits.
This change in speed limit is in response to speed studies and a crash review performed this summer at the request of the Village of Eagle Board of Trustees.


The Village of Eagle is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
- Temporary Maintenance Employee
- Deputy Clerk

4-Hers from the communities of: Alvo, Cedar Creek, Elmwood, Greenwood, Louisville, Plattsmouth, Springfield and Weeping Water belong to a 4-H Club called Triple B.
We are proud and thankful for the Triple B 4-H Club who cares about the beautification of Cass County. They did a roadside clean-up community service project on November 10th. They keep the stretch of road along the Cass County Fairgrounds looking beautiful .... thank you 4-H members! You are doing a good thing!

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 Cass County 4-H year is currently open. If you have a child age 5 (by January 1st) through age 18, and are interested in joining 4-H, it’s time to enroll. Enrollment is completed on-line at https://ne.4HOnline.com. Maybe you have some friends already in 4-H; ask them which club they belong to. If you need help selecting a club, call the Extension Office at 402-267-2205. The office is open 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Eagle PTE (Parent's and Teacher's of Eagle) meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of
every month at 7 pmin the school library. Childcare is provided.
