2025 - Post 197 Gravel Mission
This is a grass roots gravel event starting/finishing at the water tower/swimming pool/city park shelter in Eagle Nebraska. Routes will be mostly on gravel and dirt roads (if dry).
This is not a race, ride it at your pace.
65 mile route and a 30 mile route. Give or take a few miles.
You can get registered by sending and email to marlachecketts@gmail.com Include your name, distance you are riding and your phone number (just in case we need to get ahold of you).
This event is a fundraiser to help send a boy and a girl to Boys and Girls state. The morning of the event we will have a donation jar set up and all you need to do is put your donation into the jar.
We plan on having a few goodies to hand back to you for your donation.
This year we are honoring the ladies of the American Legion who were so important to WW2.

Mark your calendars for Eagle Vision’s 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat!! This event will be held in Eagle, NE in the back parking lot of Eagle Elementary (parking lot to the east of the school - pending approval). As of right now, the event will be capped at 25 entries. Any business and/or organization may enter vehicles in the Trunk or Treat by completing the form below. The event is open for members of Eagle and surrounding communities to attend.

Riders take the MoPac East Trail
Start in Lincoln (18mi), or Walton (15mi), or Eagle (8mi)
or Wabash (4mi) - Nice Trailhead!
EVERYONE'S welcome to join the fun, even if you don't bike!
Bring your lawn chair and listen to some great FREE live music, too!
Most events will take place at Elmwood Park in Elmwood, NE, (weather permitting) on the first and third Thursdays of July and August. Music event may be moved to the Quonset in case of extremely hot or stormy weather.
