What's New? 

Have you picked up your Eagle Elementary Cook Book yet?  The cookbook consists of 300 recipes from the students, staff and PTE members of Eagle Elementary.  All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go towards new playground equipment.  They make great Christmas gifts and are selling for $10.00 a piece.  You can get the cookbooks in Eagle at the school, Lou's Grocery, Eagle State Bank and Hair Styles (Sue Steinkueler's salon).  In Waverly you can get them at Four Star Drug, A Cut Above hair salon, Farmers Bank in Waverly, Prairer Home, Havelock, Trade Center sites and Horizon Bank.

The 1st Tuesday and 3rd Monday of every month the Town Board Meets. The Community Building is closed due to renovations.  All Town Board and Planning Commission Meetings have been moved down to the Fire Station until further notice.

Senior Meals that have been at the Community Building have been moved to the Lutheran Church located at 1009 G Street. If they would like to have a meal with the Seniors you need to contact Dewaine Melch at 817-1072.

 Picture Retakes Day at Eagle Elementary will be starting at 8:30am on October 16th.

PTE Meeting will be held on October 20 in the Media Center at Eagle Elementary at 7:00pm.  Child care will be provided. 

Flu Shots will be given at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church  on Tuesday, October 21 from 11:00am - 12:30pm.  Please contact Dewaine Melch at (402) 817-1072.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day at Eagle Elementary will be held on October 24 at Eagle Elementary School.  This has been a very popular event at the elementary school in past years.  The PTE is asking that those who are comfortable walking to please keep the parking spaces closer to the doors open for those who are not.  If this is your first time attending this event be prepared for a good turn out!
