Eagle Spine & Sport
524 South 4th St.
Eagle NE 68347
402-781-2847
Eagle Spine & Sport is a satellite of Omaha Spine & Sport. Dr Corey Campbell started Omaha Spine & Sport a little over a year ago after leaving the Nebraska Spine Center. Dr. Campbell was the first and only chiropractor to work in a large multidisciplinary setting in Nebraska. While at NSC he worked closely with 8 orthopedic spine surgeons, 3 physical therapists, and 2 physiatrists and a staff of about 70. Dr. Campbell offers the most complete mix of manual therapy in Nebraska blending evidence based, biomechanically superior palpation and manipulation with soft tissue and fascial release with functional rehabilitation with muscle activation techniques. This makes for a comprehensive approach to all kinds of problems ranging from neck and back pain to sport injury to headaches to TMJ pain. Dr Campbell is also and instructor and board member for the Motion Palpation Institute and National University of Health Sciences and travels all over the US, Europe, Canada, and South America teaching the concepts and techniques he practices everyday to students and doctors.
Eagle Spine & Sport will offer chiropractic care, soft tissue and fascial release, taping, nutritional supplements and eventually massage therapy. ESS will also offer $25 sport physicals when the sports year begins. In conjunction with Dr. Campbell, Dr. David Eisenmenger will also be available for Eagle residents and surrounding areas. He and Dr. Campbell will team with possibly one other doctor, all of which practice the same way, to give a wide availability of times for your convenience. Currently Eagle Spine & Sport will begin seeing patients Wednesday May 8th 9-1 and 4-8. Monday times will be available next week and Dr. Eisenmenger will start shortly after depending on the feedback from you. We have set our cash prices low ($60 new and $40 follow up) because we know high deductibles are common and to keep it affordable. Find us on Facebook here. Eagle Spine & Sport looks forward to serving this great community.

On Sunday, May 12, at 2:30 PM, the Schoolhouse Performance Series presents "Drums of the World", with Michael Fitzsimmons, percussionist and award winning composer. This concert will feature rare instruments from Switzerland called Hang – reminiscent of the steel drums of Trinidad.
Incorporating the Hang with over 30 years' experience as a composer and performer, Michael has spellbound audiences with the beautiful, other worldly sounds of these unique and intriguing instruments. Michael is a solo artist with the Nebraska Arts Council's Touring Program, performing in schools, communities, and corporate settings.
As a master teaching artist with University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Arts Are Basic, and a resident teaching artist with Nebraska Arts Council, Fitzsimmons provides programs for music and story as a way of learning at many regional schools. Michael is a leader of full day music workshops with G.A.T.E.(Grief and the Arts Training Experience) for therapists, school teachers, hospital teams, and individual groups. He is a skilled
performer of diverse percussion instruments including drums, African instruments, Mbira (thumb piano), Plains Indian flutes, Brazilian percussion flutes, various bamboo flutes. The concert will be followed by a drum circle. Michael's drum circles are a "hit" with young and old alike!
The concert will be downstairs in the Old Avoca Schoolhouse, and followed by light refreshments, and a chance to chat and even jam with the performers. Avoca is in southern Cass County, Nebraska, on the 13 C Spur, one mile south of Highway 34.
Admission is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and senior citizens, and $1.00 for children. Seating is limited. For more information, write to: Greenblatt & Seay, The Old Schoolhouse, P.O. Box 671, Avoca, Nebraska, 68307, or call 402-275-3221, or e-mail them at debby@greenblattandseay.com.
The historic Old Avoca Schoolhouse was built in 1925, and has been the home of the Schoolhouse Performance Series since 1990. Music lessons, workshops, fiddle camps, and field trips are offered by Schoolhouse residents, Greenblatt & Seay, and are available by appointment.
