
















Cass County is currently in the process of updating and revising the 1994 Solid Waste Plan. The end plan will seek to provide recommendations to the County and Communities to mitigate disposal costs and increase economic benefits and opportunities through better utilizing wasted resources.
We recognize that no plan will achieve its stated goals without the support of the communities involved and so we would appreciate if you could take a couple of moments to answer the questions on the link below. The 14th Annual Nebraska American String Teachers Association Fiddle Tune Composition Contest
This event inspires fiddlers everywhere to compose their own tunes, and supports the cause of string education throughout
the great state of Nebraska.
1st PLACE: $100.00 2nd PLACE: $50.00 3rd PLACE: $25.00
Best Viola Tune: $75.00, courtesy of the American Viola Society (www.americanviolasociety.org/)
Entries must be postmarked by March 31, 2016. The winners will be announced on May 28, 2016, during the Tallgrass Prairie Fiddle Festival held at the Homestead National Monument in Beatrice, Nebraska. The winning compositions will be performed at the Tallgrass Prairie Fiddle Festival, and printed in Stringing Along, the journal of the Nebraska Chapter of the American String Teachers Association.
