Farmers Market
The Eagle Farmers Market will start up for this season the first Thursday in June 2nd, at 4 pm and go until 6:30. We plan to run till the first week in September. Applications for new vendors can be obtained at the Eagle grocery or myself. The location will be the same also, the covered area at the park. Questions can be directed to Trisha at efma@akatheart.net.
CHAIR IT EAGLE
The Chair it Eagle event to be held during Eagle Fun Day. The chairs will be on display starting June 20 at business on main street (4th Street), including Ball Insurance, Eagle State Bank, The Parlor, Mary's Tax Service, Midwest Insurance, Bailey's Local, Great Plains, and Eagle Grocery,
The chairs will be auctioned off at silent auction during Eagle Fun Day in front of the grocery store. Winning bidders will be notified the following week.
The artists compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Winners will be announced at 6pm during the day June 25 as part of the Eagle Fun Day celebration.
All proceeds go to Eagle Vision after prizes are given out.

Cass Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is currently recruiting CASA advocates to speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected children in Cass County. The next training session is scheduled to begin July 24 and will run for five weeks. The training consists of 15 hours of online training and 15 hours of in-person training. We are also seeking male volunteers for this class as over 60% of our CASA children are males. Calling all Quilters in Cass County
Last year's quilt block contest entries have been made up into 2 quilts which will be raffled at the 2016 Cass County Fair. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Expo Building each evening of the fair, in the Expo Building. Drawing will be at 8pm on Saturday evening, August 13. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Need not be present to win.
